Accessibility statement

Cyclop Technologies OÜ wants cyclop-tech.com to be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard only, zoom or high contrast. This statement covers cyclop-tech.com and its French version.

Where we stand

Our target is the WCAG 2.2 level AA standard (the reference of the European standard EN 301 549).

The site has not yet had a full accessibility audit, by us or by an outside expert. We therefore describe it as partially conformant: we cannot claim more until it has been measured.

What we already do

  • The colours of buttons and text come from a shared set of components whose contrast is measured before use.
  • Pages are built with real headings, landmarks and labelled form fields, and work in English and French.
  • Animations respect the reduced motion setting of the system where they are built for it.

What we know is not right yet

  • The PDF documents we send (quotes, invoices, terms attached to an order) are generated automatically and are not tagged for screen readers. Ask us and we send the same content as plain text.
  • The card payment form is provided by Stripe inside our pages; its accessibility depends on Stripe.
  • Some older pages and help articles have images whose text alternative is missing or too short.
  • Videos do not all have captions yet.

Legal framework

The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) applies in Estonia through the Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services Act. Microenterprises that provide services are exempt from its service requirements (article 4(5) of the directive); Cyclop is one today and publishes this statement voluntarily.
