Why Cyclop
Your computer still has years in it.
Cyclop OS is a Linux system for people who would rather keep the machine they own than buy the next one. Here is who it is for, what you get, what it costs, and what it does not do.
23.3%
of the machines in the Steam hardware survey of July 2026 still ran the previous version of the most common desktop system, nine months after its support ended.
Oct 2026
The free year of extended security updates for that previous version ended in October 2026.

If your graphics card is recent enough for today’s games, it has a future here.
Start free, tune later
Nvidia and AMD graphics are supported, and you can start with the free Community edition. In the Gaming edition, Steam, Proton and Lutris are ready out of the box and the signed Nvidia driver installs with Secure Boot on.
A tuned system, if you want it
The Gaming edition is €60 incl. VAT a year, or €6 incl. VAT a month. It is tuned for performance.
Look before you move
Some games do not run, anti-cheat being the usual reason. Check your own titles first in the apps and games catalogue.
Small businesses: pay for support, not for a new fleet of PCs
A workstation that works, with someone to write to when it does not.
See the Pro editionA low, flat cost
The Pro edition is €48 incl. VAT a year per machine. No hardware renewal forced on you by the system.
Secure from the first boot
Firewall, automatic security updates, a private DNS resolver and tracker blocking are on by default, and there is no telemetry, only an anonymous count of machines.
Real support
The Pro edition comes with email support, and updates come from a signed repository.
Your Windows programs, often
Cyclop Windows Apps runs many of them in the paid editions. Often, not always: test yours on a USB key before you commit.
Schools: computer rooms that last longer
The cheapest computer is the one you do not have to replace.
Check the requirementsThe lowest price per seat
The Education edition is €12 incl. VAT per seat per year.
Built for poor connections
The software store keeps its catalogue on the disk, so you can browse it without a connection. Screenshots still need one.
In your language
The software store speaks 39 languages.
Machines that keep going
Check the system requirements first: if a room meets them, it does not need replacing for the system’s sake.
The honest part
We would rather you know before you install.
- Not every Windows program runs, and some games with anti-cheat will not. Try Cyclop OS from a USB key and keep it only if it suits you.
- The Community edition is free and complete as a system, but the Windows programs layer and the other paid extras come with the paid editions.
- We are a small company and we say so. A patch ships every week or two, and what we have not measured properly we do not quote.
Editions and prices
One free base, three paid editions. Prices include VAT, you pay exactly this amount.
Try it from a USB key. Keep it if it suits you.
Download the free edition, boot from the key without touching your disk, and see your own machine run it.
