Mobile apps
An app, not a website in a box.
Android and iPhone from one codebase, so you pay once for two platforms. Built from a written brief, priced before a line is written.
Already have a site with us?
Then you probably do not need this page. A companion app or a web app costs a fraction of what is below, because it shows what your site already produces instead of inventing it.
Three levels
What it has to do decides the price
Priced from a brief written with you, never from a conversation: an app quoted on a chat is an app quoted twice.
Android first
from
€1 200
once
then €35 a month
One platform, published fast, without the yearly Apple fee.
Android only, on Google Play
Sign-in and an account per person
Your content, and a simple admin panel
iPhone later, as an option
App with accounts
from
€4 500
once
then €90 a month
Your customers sign in and have something of their own.
Sign-in, and an account per person
A database and an admin panel of your own
Push notifications you send yourself
Android and iPhone, from one codebase
App that sells
from
€8 500
once
then €150 a month
A catalogue, a basket, and card payment inside the app.
Everything in the app with accounts
Catalogue, basket and card payment
Orders, shipping and invoices
Maps, bookings or scanning, if the brief asks
Built to order
from
€18 000
once
then €250 a month
Real time, a marketplace, mobile money, or something nobody has done.
A written brief first, then a fixed price
Chat, live tracking, third-party integrations
Mobile money where that is what people use
Priced from the brief, never from a conversation
Plainly
The app stores, plainly
Both stores charge to publish, and both want the account to belong to the business behind the app. We do not hide that in a footnote.
Google Play
A one-off fee to open the developer account. Paid once, for the life of the account.
Apple App Store
A yearly fee, and Apple asks for a registered company with a legal identifier. It renews every year, for as long as the app is listed.
Whose account
Yours. We set it up with you, publish under it, and you keep it. An app published under our account would leave with us, and both stores are strict about who may publish on behalf of whom.
Google Play
$25
once, for the life of the account
Apple Developer Program
$99
every year
Free for accredited schools, non-profits and public bodies that do not sell inside the app.
The monthly fee
Why an app has a monthly fee
01
Android and iOS release a new version every year, and each one breaks something.
02
Both stores raise their minimum requirements, and an app below them is removed from sale.
03
Certificates and signing keys expire and have to be renewed.
04
Your site changes, and the app has to follow.
